Good Fold uses SMS for transactional order-update texts only โ order confirmation, shipping, pickup-ready, and problems with your order. Phone numbers are verified via a one-time SMS code at checkout before the order is submitted. This page mirrors the live verification pop-up where customers actually opt in.
When the customer enters their phone number at checkout and taps Verify, this pop-up appears. The disclosure shown at the bottom is where transactional SMS consent is captured โ tapping Send Code is the consent action. The block below reproduces the live pop-up verbatim.
When a customer places an order, we use the phone number provided to send texts about that order โ order confirmation, pickup-ready notifications, shipping updates, and any problems with the order. These messages are transactional only; we do not send marketing or promotional texts. The disclosure shown inside the verification pop-up reads, verbatim:
By continuing, you agree to receive transactional order-update texts from Good Fold at this number (confirmation, pickup-ready, shipping, problems with your order). Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
The checkout flow captures consent in this order:
